Ideal for smaller jobs and pre-prepared timber.
Logs should be cut to suitable lengths and positioned within easy reach of the splitter.
One experienced operator will run the machine, focusing solely on efficient and safe log splitting, creating a pile of logs next to the splitter.
This option works best where assistance is available on-site or where output speed is less critical.

Double Operator Hire (with chainsaw)
Our recommended service for maximum efficiency and output.
With one operator dedicated to splitting and a second preparing and sorting, the process runs continuously, keeping the splitter fed and significantly increasing productivity.
Ideal for larger volumes, unorganised timber, or customers looking for a fully managed, high-output service.
£450+VAT per day.
What's Included?
1 day hire
1 day hire is based on 8:00-16:00 with a 30 minute break and allowance for refueling, positioning etc. Arrival time 8:00, pack up beginning at 16:00.
Consumables
The cost of all consumables is included, no additional charges for fluids, chains or any other consumables.
Travel
The cost of travel is free within 15 miles of Usk, additional distance may be charged at £0.75+VAT per mile.
*4 bulk bags per hour based on a 0.6m³ bulk bag and good quality wood cut to suitable lengths.
